  • Tax Free Allowance: PHP 17,500-20,000 PHP** per month

ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

Tagpros Children is launching a National Remediation Program aimed at addressing learning loss among elementary students in Muntinlupa, Malabon, and Quezon City. We are seeking dedicated and passionate Educational Fellows/Tutors to join our mission of providing quality education and support to young learners in need.

Tagpros Children is a national leader in high-impact, in-school tutoring. We leverage the power of human capital and technology to accelerate student outcomes and create impactful learning for students.

Since our founding in 2020, we have reached more than 750 schools, in both the US and the Philippines, providing educators professional development training, impacting thousands of students in the  ongoing pandemic. With our proven-to-work tutoring model and focus on relationship building, we have been able to reach students who need it most and support families, educators, and districts through our services. Whether that be through our work in providing direct solutions, building cutting edge products, or advocating for impact, our vision to make education equitable for all students is realized daily.

OUR TEACHER FELLOWS

Our Fellows are selected from a diverse group of individuals from various backgrounds across the Philippines to serve our students as math tutors; each Fellow brings their unique skill set to assist students’ success. We are seeking talented, caring, and capable people committed to supporting our students in their academic and social development. Through this service year opportunity, our Fellows develop leadership skills, participate in professional development workshops, engage in public speaking and much more. This is not only a positive learning experience for our students but for our Fellows as well!

RESPONSIBILITIES

​1. Student Support:

  • Conduct one-on-one or small group remedial sessions in mathematics for elementary/high school students.

  • Develop and implement customized learning plans based on students' specific needs and assessment results.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure effective learning.

2.  Mentorship and Guidance:

  •  Provide mentorship and academic support to help students overcome learning challenges, build confidence, and develop effective study habits.

  • Foster a positive and motivating learning environment to encourage student engagement and participation.

​3.  Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the program team and fellow Educational Fellows to share best practices, resources, and insights.

  • Attend regular team meetings and contribute to the development of effective teaching strategies and resources.

​4.  Professional Development:

  •  Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with the latest educational techniques and research.

  •  Continuously seek opportunities for self-improvement and growth as an educator.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (graduate students or recent graduates are also encouraged to apply).

  • A genuine passion for education and a strong commitment to helping students succeed.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and foster a positive learning environment.

  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations.

  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to commit to the program for [Specify Duration] with flexible hours.
