ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

The National K-12 Remediation Program serves as TCI’s signature program in partnership with selected cities and municipalities within the National Capital Region (NCR). At the conclusion of successful pilots for NCR public schools, the initiative will be expanded into a full-blown, nationwide tutoring program, which will cover hundreds of municipalities and cities from northern to southern part of the Philippines.

Since our founding in 2020, we have reached more than 750 schools, in both the US and the Philippines, providing educators professional development training, impacting thousands of students in the  ongoing pandemic. With our proven-to-work tutoring model and focus on relationship building, we have been able to reach students who need it most and support families, educators, and districts through our services. Whether that be through our work in providing direct solutions, building cutting edge products, or advocating for impact, our vision to make education equitable for all students is realized daily.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Training Coordination:

  •  Organize and facilitate training sessions for Educational Fellows to ensure they are well-prepared to deliver effective remediation.

  •  Develop training materials and resources that align with program goals and objectives.

  •  Continuously assess and improve training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our Educational Fellows.

​2.  Quality Assurance:

  •  Establish and implement quality assurance processes to monitor program activities and outcomes.

  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure that the program meets or exceeds established quality standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.

3.   Evaluation and Assessment:

  •  Design and implement assessment tools to measure student progress, program impact, and Educational Fellows' effectiveness.

  • Analyze program data and evaluation results to provide insights for program improvement and decision-making.

  • Generate reports and summaries for program stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

4.   Research and Report

  • Gather data and analytics with regard to the program.

  • Provide insights and recommendations about the program.

  • Write research findings (paper) about the National Remediation Program.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Data and Statistics with Education Background, or a related field (graduate degree preferred).

  • A passion for education and a strong commitment to improving educational outcomes for elementary students.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate training and quality assurance efforts.

  • Experience in educational assessment, quality assurance, or program evaluation is a plus.

  • Ability to commit to the program for 1 year.
