ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

The National K-12 Remediation Program serves as TCI’s signature program in partnership with selected cities and municipalities within the National Capital Region (NCR). At the conclusion of successful pilots for NCR public schools, the initiative will be expanded into a full-blown, nationwide tutoring program, which will cover hundreds of municipalities and cities from northern to southern part of the Philippines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.

  • Organize and file financial documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.

  •  Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

2. Accounts Payable:

  •  Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, matching purchase orders, and coding expenses.

  •  Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  •  Address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

​

3. Accounts Receivable:

  • Assist in monitoring accounts receivable, including invoicing, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.

  • Record customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable records.

  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure accurate billing and collections.

​

4. Budget Support:

  •  Assist in budget management activities, including tracking expenses against budgets and providing financial reports to program managers.

  • Contribute to the development of budgetary projections and financial planning.

​

5. Financial Reporting:

  • Generate financial reports and summaries for review by the finance team and senior management.

  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for external stakeholders, such as donors and auditors.

​

6.  Preparation of Reports

  • Preparation and submission of reports to the BIR, creation of schedules needed as part of the attachments.

  • Monitoring of cash flows to conform with the bank balances and reconciliation.

  • Preparation of reports and payments to SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig.

  • Preparation of monthly payroll and the releasing of salaries to Officers and staff.

  • Coordinating with the government agencies in terms of registration, compliance and other matters.

​7.  General Support:

  •   Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

  •    Assist in financial audits and compliance checks.

  •    Assists in the Human resources functions while in the pilot phase program.

  •    Handles the non-profit corporation and the profit corporation.

  •   Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.

​

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (associate degree or relevant experience may be considered).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to the organization's mission and values.
